The concept of “Radio-Frequency Nanotechnology”
This concept defines an enabling area bridging the foundations of nanoscience and its wide band radio-frequency applications, through microwaves up to the optical range. Nanoelectronics offers the gateway to a new generation of highly integrated multifunctional devices, circuits and systems.
What is MTT-25
The MTT-25 "RF Nanotechnology" is a technical committee of the IEEE MTT Society, whose members are engineers, physicists, chemists worldwide. MTT-25 members are now engaged in research and development, aimed at the design of manufacturing of high frequency materials, devices, circuits, components, systems for RF nanotechnology/nanoelectronics.
What is the main mission of MTT-25
The main goal of MTT-25 is to provide, under the IEEE aegis, an appropriate venue to review and foster innovation in the topics of nanotechnology/nanoelectronics that are of most interest for the microwave/RF engineering community, and others, in particular by evaluating their impact on the future development of RF technology.
...other missions
To focus on critical topics, fostering publications, organizing events and group participation in projects. To foster the transition from the research labs to the relevant industry, e.g. by defining standards and finding development routes in RF nanoelectronics.
What we can do for you
First, we would like to stimulate the exchange of information with you, in order to define and expand the community, to analyze and discuss more and more the research topics of RF nanotechnology that are critical and hot in terms of technological and social implications. This also implies organization of events and publications. Most importantly, the IEEE framework is capable of organizing groups and task forces aimed at persuing internationally founded projects and research activities.
What you can do for us
To bring you expertise, participate actively in discussions, suggest topics, criticizing, receive and impart information, stimulate new discussions, point out new roads, try to broaden the community of interested people. You can do this by joining our forum, parteciapating to the blog, sending e-mail.
